About Pete Bartolik

Pete Bartolik is a seasoned pro with experience on both sides of the editorial fence. He worked for a decade as a writer and editor for various publications before making a leap to the field of public relations. For the past six years, he has run his own business, writing for and editing custom print and electronic publications on behalf of companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Iron Mountain and others.

In addition, Pete provides a wide range of marketing communications services, including ghostwriting articles for publication, developing white papers, and public relations consulting.

He built his reporting credentials during a five-year stint as news reporter with the Salem Evening News, a daily newspaper in the highly competitive North Shore region of Massachusetts. Subsequently, he joined the IT management trade publication, Computerworld, working as a staff writer, industry editor, and five years as news editor. He then moved to the position of editor in chief for LOTUS Magazine, a monthly publication designed for PC end-users.

Later, Pete moved to public relations, working with high tech PR agency Lois Paul & Partners,  a subsidiary of Fleishman-Hillard, as senior vice president in charge of the San Francisco office.
